This is a one of a kind platter made by the firing process called Raku - each pot is fired to 1000 degrees celcius, then pulled from the kiln while super hot and placed in a reduction bin filled with combustables, such as sawdust and newspapers. The process is dramatic and the results speak for themself!

This large Raku'd platter will look great displaying fruit, veg, or other items.

Raku items are not safe for serving food as they are porous.
